Events

In order to provide a comprehensive musical education, Karen organises regular events for students of the Academy. These include trips to concerts to hear and meet professional musicians, and student concerts for learners to gain performance experience and to hear a variety of piano repertoire from other students of different levels and ages.

Prizes and award ceremonies are also organised when the official sponsors of Penarth Piano Academy and Vale Pianos present regional trophies for outstanding achievement, and representatives of the examination boards award certificates to successful candidates.

Emily Geen awarded Vale Junior Trophy 2008 for exceptional achievement	Kathryn Lindsay awarded Vale Senior Trophy 2008 having passed both grade 8 piano and theory of music examinations.
Daniel & Laura Soltys awarded Vale Junior Trophy 2005 for piano duet	Alysia Sawicka awarded Vale Senior Trophy 2006 having passed grade 8 piano and theory with distinction, post grade 8 performers certificate from Trinity College London and an Associate diploma from London College of Music
